After the court’s stay on the post of Pramukh and Deputy Pramukh of Fulwaria Block in Gopalganj district of Bihar was lifted, elections were held for both the posts in Hathua subdivisional auditorium on Tuesday. In this, BDC member Rani Devi was elected unopposed for the post of Pramukh. While BDC member Virendra Pandit was elected unopposed for the post of Deputy Pramukh. As soon as the news of the completion of the election for the post of Pramukh and Deputy Pramukh was received, a wave of happiness ran among the supporters. The supporters started congratulating each other by applying gulal while playing drums. At the same time, Rani Devi, who was elected unopposed for the post of Pramukh and Virendra Pandit, who was elected unopposed for the post of Deputy Pramukh, were given certificates by the ADM and SDM.
