Government Gives Compensation on Domestic animal death due to flood in bihar


These days, floods are causing severe devastation in many areas of the country. Due to which even the lives of people are in danger. Many people have lost their lives due to this. At the same time, animals also die due to floods. In such a situation, this proves to be a huge loss for the farmers. But now the government has decided to give compensation to the farmers under a scheme.

In fact, when the farmers are devastated by the blow of nature, there are tears in their eyes and despair in their hearts. The terrible flood in Bihar rendered thousands of farmers homeless and killed their cattle. In this hour of grief, the Bihar government has started a scheme for farmers. The Bihar government has announced compensation for the animals that died due to the flood. This decision has brought great relief to the farmers. This initiative of the government will help the farmers to recover from financial loss.

How much compensation will be received?

  • Dairy animals: In case of death of cow, buffalo, camel, yak etc., the farmer will get compensation of Rs 37,500 per animal.
  • Other animals: On the death of goat, sheep and pig, farmers will be given compensation of Rs 4,000 per animal.
  • Poultry: Poultry farmers will also be given compensation of Rs 100 per unit.

How will I get compensation?

In case of death of animals, the farmer will have to inform the concerned officer. The officer will confirm the death of the animals and the compensation amount will be transferred to the farmer’s account.
