This much money is given in UP
The Uttar Pradesh government runs many schemes for the poor. Under one of these schemes, grants are also given for the marriage of daughters of poor families. In Uttar Pradesh, the government helps the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, General Category and people below the poverty line. In urban areas, the government provides assistance of Rs 56460.
Whereas in rural areas, Rs 46080 is given. To avail the benefit of the Uttar Pradesh government scheme, one has to apply 90 days before the marriage. To avail the benefit of the scheme, one has to apply by visiting the official website shadianudan.upsdc.gov.in.
MP government gives 55 thousand
Apart from the Uttar Pradesh government, the Madhya Pradesh government also gives grants for the marriage of daughters under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana. The MP government has not imposed any kind of compulsion regarding caste or religion. Under the mass marriage scheme, Rs 49000 is sent to the daughter’s account. Apart from this, Rs 6000 is given separately at the time of Kanyadan. Application for this can be given by visiting the official website of the scheme https://socialjustice.mp.gov.in/.
Delhi government gives 30 thousand
Apart from Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, the Delhi government also runs a scheme to provide grants for the marriage of daughters. Under the Balika Vivaah Yojana in Delhi, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 30,000 for the marriage of a daughter.
Any economically weak family can apply to avail the benefits of this scheme. People from all categories like SC, ST, OBC, Minority category can apply under the scheme.
