How big can a drone fly?
According to this rule, if you buy any drone, you will have to get it digitally registered. Apart from this, you will also have to provide information about where you want to fly the drone. If you are caught flying a drone without permission, action can be taken against you under the provisions of the Aircraft Act, 1934.
Size of the drone
Drones are divided into three levels. Small drones, medium drones and large drones. The weight of small drones can be from 2 to 25 kg. The weight of medium drones can be from 25 to 150 kg. On the other hand, the weight of large drones can be from 150 to 500 kg. Whereas, any drone larger than this will come under the UAV Aircraft Rules 1937.
A license has to be taken for drones as well
It is not like you just buy a drone from the market and start flying it. If you want to fly a drone, then you will have to get a certificate of drone flying ability. Apart from this, whatever drone you buy, make sure to generate its UIN number from the Digital Sky platform.
