Gujarat Election Result: What Was Aap’s Strategy Behind Those Three Claims Of Kejriwal, Which Failed Miserably

The results of the Gujarat assembly elections have surprised everyone this time. BJP was successful in winning for the 7th consecutive time. With this victory, BJP created many such records, which have not been made in the history of Gujarat till now. BJP got 156 seats in this election. The entire opposition got wiped out in the storm of BJP. The Congress was reduced to 17 out of 77 seats. The condition of the Aam Aadmi Party, which staked claim to form the government, was also very bad. Only five candidates of AAP could win the elections.

AAP’s convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had made many big claims regarding the Gujarat elections. He had given some claims in writing by going to the programs of different TV channels. All the claims written by Kejriwal have failed. Let us know what claims were made by Arvind Kejriwal? After all, what was Kejriwal’s strategy behind these claims? What is the response to these claims now?

Let us first know the written claims that Kejriwal made before the Gujarat elections.

1. Congress will get less than five seats:

The first written claim by Kejriwal on TV channels was about Congress seats. His claim came just before the first phase of Gujarat elections. In this, he wrote on the stage of TV channels that this time Congress will get less than five seats in Gujarat elections. This claim of Kejriwal turned out to be wrong. This time 17 Congress candidates were successful in winning the elections. Compared to 2017, there was definitely a decrease of 60 seats in it, but not so much that Kejriwal’s claim would be justified.

2. All the three heavyweight leaders of AAP will win the elections with huge margins: Kejriwal made another tall claim that his chief ministerial candidate Isudan Gadhvi, AAP state president Gopal Italia and veteran AAP leader Alpesh Kathiria are winning the elections with huge margins.

Kejriwal also claimed this publicly by writing on a piece of paper. This claim of Kejriwal also failed. Isudan Gadhvi contested from Khambhalia seat. He was defeated by BJP candidate Mulubhai Bera by more than 18 thousand votes. Similarly, AAP’s state president Gopal Italia also lost badly from Katargam seat.

Italia was defeated by BJP candidate Vinodbhai Moradiya by more than 64 thousand votes. Something similar happened with the third leader, Alpesh Kathiria. Kejriwal had also claimed the victory of Kathiriya, but he was defeated by BJP candidate Kishorebhai Kanani by more than 16,000 votes.

3. Your government will be formed: This was the third big claim of Kejriwal. In this, he wrote on a plain page from the public platform that this time the Aam Aadmi Party government is being formed in Gujarat. Kejriwal has even claimed that this has been mentioned in the IB report as well. This is the reason why BJP is getting worried. Now when the BJP won the elections in Gujarat with huge votes. The Aam Aadmi Party won only five seats. After losing the election, Aam Aadmi Party Delhi MLA Naresh Balyan, on the contrary, targeted the BJP on the mention of IB. He tweeted and wrote, ‘IB stands for “Internal Broadcasting” department of Aam Aadmi Party. Who assesses the seats and gives the report. Now the BJP people have understood it to be another IB, so it is their fault.

Why does Arvind Kejriwal make such claims?

It is not that Arvind Kejriwal has made such a claim for the first time in Gujarat. Prior to this, he has made such false claims in the elections of many states including Goa, UP. In such a situation, the question arises that why does he make such claims again and again? To understand this, we asked political analyst Prof. Spoke to Ajay Kumar Singh. He said, ‘Aam Aadmi Party is a fast emerging party in the country. If you study their methods, most of their work is based on propaganda. They try to show their small things by making them big. Present it as a brand. Kejriwal’s claims are a part of this.
