Ingredients to make Fafda
Gram flour – 1 cup
Ajwain – 1 tsp
Soda – 1 pinch
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
oil – as needed
salt – as per taste
Fafda Recipe
If you also want to relish fafka with kadhi, then filter gram flour in a utensil to make it. After this, mix celery in gram flour. Then add turmeric, a pinch of baking soda and a spoonful of oil and mix everything well. Now add lukewarm water little by little and knead the gram flour well. Knead the gram flour neither too hard nor too soft.
Now break small lumps of gram flour and keep it covered with a cloth for some time. Now take a ball and apply some oil on it and instead of rolling it round, roll it long. Now if the dough is too long, then two pieces can be cut from the middle of it. After this, take them out and keep them in a plate. In the same way, roll out all the balls and make puffs.

Now put oil in a pan and heat it. After the oil is hot, put the rolled puffed rice in it and deep fry. After frying the lungs for one to two minutes, they will turn golden brown and become crispy. After this, take out the lungs in a plate. Similarly fry all the lungs. Now serve the fafdas with curry and green chillies.
