Renowned spiritual guru Morari Bapu’s Ramkatha in Rajkot garnered donations worth over Rs 60 crore for causes like serving the elderly and promoting environment conservation. This amount of donation will be given for the old age home to be built by Sadbhavna Trust and other charitable works.

On the very first day of Ramkatha organized at the Race Course Ground in Rajkot, Morari Bapu appealed to the people to express their affection and support towards the elders and nature. Following his call, the audience made unprecedented donations. With such a huge donation, the core message of compassion and humanity of Ramkatha has also been strengthened.

The main objective of this story was to collect donations for the Sadbhavna Old Age Home to be built at a cost of Rs 300 crore in Paddhari area on Jamnagar Road. destitute, disabled and helpless elderly

This old age home, being built with the aim of helping everyone get their own home, will have a total of 1,400 rooms where the elderly will be taken care of with full respect. The second objective of this project is also to conserve the environment through large-scale tree plantation, which combines our responsibility towards the environment with spiritual values.

This Ramkatha was the 947th story in Morari Bapu’s six-decade journey of upliftment of society through the teachings of Lord Ram and Ramayana. Millions of devotees across the world enthusiastically connect with his eternal message of truth, love and compassion. This event in Rajkot shows the power of spirituality to bring revolution in the society.

More than 80,000 devotees, dignitaries and volunteers participated in this sacred procession every day, which started with the grand Pothi Yatra on 23rd November. Besides, a large number of listeners and devotees also accepted the food prasad with great enthusiasm. Dozens of social organizations and volunteers worked hard day and night to make this event a success.

This Ram Katha, which was completed on 1 December, gave a truly divine spiritual experience to thousands of people and also revealed the ability of religion and faith to lead the society towards a meaningful change.
