Bad news has come for the passengers traveling from Surat Railway Station in Gujarat coming in the Western Railway Zone. According to the information received from the Railways, two platforms of Surat Railway Station have been closed for the next 60 days from January 8, 2025. This station is being developed to make it world class level. At present, there are a total of four platforms at Surat Railway Station, out of which the redevelopment work on platform number 4 has almost been completed. It will be opened from January 8. Now with the closure of platform number 2-3, platform number 4 will be opened.
So many trains were shifted
After closure of platform no. 2 and 3 of Surat railway station, 122 up line mail express trains stopping at platform 2 and 79 trains of down line stopping at platform no. 3 will stop at other railway stations of Surat city since January 8. Will be shifted to Udhna station. After January 8, trains will be available from Surat Railway Station platform number 1 and 4 for the next 60 days.
