Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Parole: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh getting parole for 40 days said that he is not aware of it.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Saturday (January 21), “We do not know that Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has got parole for 40 days. Even if he has got parole, he must have got it after following the whole process and it is his right. I will not interfere in this matter.

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was again given parole for 40 days on Friday (January 20). Ram Rahim, who was serving a 20-year sentence for raping two of his female students, was granted parole for 40 days three months ago. Controversy has increased regarding this only.

The last 40-day parole of the Dera chief ended on November 25 last year. He went to his Barnawa ashram in Uttar Pradesh after being released on 14 October. Earlier, Haryana Jail Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala, while commenting on the latest parole plea of the Dera chief, had said that the Dera chief had filed an application for parole for 40 days, which was forwarded to the Rohtak Divisional Commissioner.
