Gurugram News: A surprising case has come to light from Gurugram. Here a young man and his friend found it difficult to eat chips while sitting in a car at night. By threatening to implicate him in a fake case, the fake policeman duped him of Rs 1 lakh 40 thousand. After that the ‘fake policeman’ fled from there. In this case, on the basis of the complaint of the victims, the Gurugram police have registered a case and started investigation.
This incident is being told near the Kingdom of Heaven at around 8.15 pm on Wednesday night. In a complaint given to the police, a young man told that he was sitting in the car with one of his colleagues at night. Both of them were eating chips. Then a man wearing police uniform came to him. He said that both of you are doing dirty work in the car at the public place so late at night. Action will be taken against you. On the young man’s refusal, that ‘khaki wala’ asked to show the IDs of both of them. The young man says that the ‘Khaki Wale’ took the ID and kept it in his pocket and then forcibly sat in the car. Threatening to put them in jail, he started asking them to go to the police station. Due to this both of them got scared and thought it better to leave after giving money.

According to the information, Shubham Taneja, a resident of Sector-9 of Gurugram, has filed this complaint before the police. According to his complaint, he and his friend were duped by the fake policeman. Taneja alleged that the ‘khaki wale’ had taken away their mobile phones and identity cards and threatened to take them to the police station. Then he told them that if they want to go, they can be saved by paying Rs 2 lakh.

Taneja further said, “Fearing the threat of him (the fake policeman), we both withdrew Rs 1 lakh from our ATM cards, besides giving another Rs 40,000 to him, which were kept in the car. Thus after taking Rs 1.40 lakh from us, he returned our phones and identity cards and then left. We went to our house and lodged a complaint on Thursday on realizing the fraud.”
