Human Carrying Drone: Medhansh Trivedi of Gwalior, a class 12 student at Scindia School, has developed a drone that can carry a human being. He took inspiration for making this drone from China’s drone technology. This single-seater drone is capable of carrying a weight of up to 80 kg and can fly for about six minutes.

For your information, let us tell you that on Thursday, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia met Medhansh at his residence in New Delhi and praised his invention. He advised Medhansh to consider this innovation as the beginning of his career and move forward and asked him to prepare for studies in leading institutions of the world. Besides, the minister has also assured Medhansh of all possible assistance.

Medhansh told that he has made this drone at a cost of Rs 3.5 lakh, which has been named MLDT 01. It took him three months to prepare it. The length and width of the drone is 1.8 meters and it is currently being flown to a height of only 10 meters to ensure safety.
“I was inspired to make it after seeing a drone in China. My teacher Manoj Mishra helped me a lot in developing it by providing technical support and inspiration,” he said in a statement issued by his school. During the foundation day celebrations of Scindia School, Union Minister Scindia and ISRO chief S. Somnath also praised this innovation of Medhansh.

This innovation of Medhansh has given him recognition at the national level. Expressing pride in his achievement, Union Minister Scindia said, “I have met Medhansh Trivedi and congratulated him for his invention. I will provide all possible help for his bright future.” This drone of Medhansh is an example of technological progress and it is considered to be the beginning of his contribution towards advanced technologies in the future.
