After getting the right to worship in the basement of Vyas ji in Gyanvapi complex, the Muslim side has accused the court of not listening. He also said that he will soon meet the President and present his side in this matter. On Friday, a meeting of the Muslim side was held at the Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind office in Delhi.

After the meeting, Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, President of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, said that we were not even given a chance to present our views in the court. The way the puja was started in the basement raises questions on the working of the administration. The court had given the administration seven days to do this work.

He said that he was surprised at the decision of the Varanasi District Judge. This decision is wrong and baseless. The District Judge gave an objectionable verdict on the last day of service, based on an unfounded claim that no puja was ever held in the basement. The Hindu side presented the case on the basis of wrong facts which has spoiled the atmosphere in the society. However, till now there has been neither any debate nor confirmation on this in the court. This report is just a claim.

He said that the district court should also have given the Muslim side a chance to appeal, which is their legal right. The problem is not limited to Gyanvapi Masjid alone, but is linked to the way Shahi Idgah in Mathura, Sunehri in Delhi and other mosques. He says that if things continue like this then disputes will arise anywhere in the country and the Muslim side will not be heard. On this occasion, Jamiat Ulama Hind President Maulana Syed Asad Mahmood Madani, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Vice President Janab Malik Motsim Khan and other dignitaries were present.

Trust will be lost in the court

Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind President Maulana Syed Arshad Madani said that a law was made in the year 1991. It was said that after 1947, whatever was there would remain the same. Babri Masjid was kept out of this. After Babri Masjid, a path opened and now such efforts are being made everywhere. He said that the court and the government should see that no wrong happens to anyone, but no one is working in this direction. If this continues, we will lose confidence in the court. What is happening with the Muslim side has left the Muslims of the country deeply worried. In any democratic system, courts are the last resort for the victims and affected people of the society.

Have sought an appointment with the President

Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith President Maulana Asghar Imam Mahdi said that the Muslim party is being discriminated against. Has sought an appointment with the President on this issue. We want to present our stand after meeting the President. The President is the head of the country. If after meeting him we feel that we should also meet the Prime Minister, then an appointment will be sought from him also.
