Three cases including Shringar Gauri related to Gyanvapi are to be heard in the court today. All three cases will be heard in the court of District Judge Sanjeev Pandey on Saturday.
The case filed by Kiran Singh regarding permission to perform Shringar Gauri puja has been transferred to the District Judge’s court. The application demanding that the case be heard in the lower court is pending. The hearing on this will be held today. The case filed by Rakhi Singh demanding a survey of the closed basement will be heard.
At the same time, the hearing on the pending revision petition in the court of District Judge Sanjeev Pandey on behalf of Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee against the order of Civil Judge Senior Division Fast Track Court is also to be held today.
Hearing of Surjewala case on July 12
Hearing of the case of Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala could not be held on Friday as the lawyers abstained from judicial work in protest against the new law. The court has fixed the next date of hearing as 12th July. The case of Randeep, who was accused of staging a sit-in protest and obstructing government work in the Commissionerate premises in protest against the arrest of Congress leaders in the two and a half decade old Sanvasini case, was to be heard in the court.
