A young man who had gone to celebrate New Year’s party with friends in a hotel located in Nazirabad police station area of Kanpur, died under suspicious circumstances. His body was found lying semi-nude in the bathroom. The friends were shocked by the incident that happened during the party. The family created an uproar by accusing friends of murder.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot along with the forensic team, investigated and collected evidence. Along with this, they are busy scanning the CCTV footage. Gaurav Gupta (22), the only son of disabled Awadhesh Gupta, resident of Bhannanapurwa of Chamanganj, used to work in a cafe in Swaroop Nagar. Mother in the family is Sangeeta.
