As soon as the relatives of the teenagers who were victims of the accident reached Hazara Canal, the picnic point of Kasganj Jhal bridge, there was an outcry. The happiness of Eid festival was seen turning into mourning. Eid was being celebrated in everyone’s homes, but the accident of drowning in the canal shocked the family members. Only sighs and screams were coming out of his mouth. The scene was such that even the people who reached the spot became inconsolable.

After receiving information about the incident, family members came from Nagla Pota village of Etah at around 3:20 pm. Asif’s mother Shabina Begum and brother Shan Mohammad reached the spot after he went missing by drowning. He started screaming badly. He told that after the namaz, Asif came out with his friends. There was no information about this even at home. He used to do tailoring work. Brother was repeatedly calling Asif a piece of heart. At the same time, Kishore Salman’s mother Nasreen was also losing consciousness due to crying. Other women of the family were also with her.

The women of the family were consoling Nasreen by giving her water to drink. Nasreen told that Salman had not told about the canal. He had said at home that he was going to take bath in the swimming pool. Zahid’s father Mehndi Hasan, who drowned in the canal, and uncle Munne were also deeply troubled by Zahid’s drowning. He was in a bad state and crying. Uncle was losing his patience and becoming unconscious. Similar was the condition of the families of all the other teenagers. As soon as information was received, people started reaching the spot. There was an atmosphere of shouting.

The teenagers had come in an e-rickshaw for Rs 350.

The teenagers had decided to hire an e-rickshaw from the village itself. Had brought e-rickshaw after fixing the fare from Faheem for Rs 350. Zahid, the young man who drowned in the accident, had himself driven the e-rickshaw. Youth Sohail, who survived the accident, gave this information.
