Three people riding a bike, who were returning from work at the Galla warehouse, were hit by a vehicle on the Lucknow-Palia National Highway. All three were taken to CHC in critical condition. One was declared dead in CHC, while two have been referred to Lucknow Trauma Centre.

Nanhakke (38), a resident of Samsapur in Kachhauna Kotwali area, used to work in a warehouse located in the industrial area of Sandila Kotwali area. He also did farming. Late on Saturday evening, village resident Atal Bihari (32) and Ayush (19) were going to their home from Galla godown on bike. A vehicle hit a bike near Kurna Gate on the Lucknow-Palia National Highway. All three youths riding the bike were injured in the accident. Police arrived on the information of passersby and took all three to CHC. Here the doctor declared Nanhakke dead, while Atal and Ayush were referred to Lucknow Trauma Center.
The deceased is survived by his wife Kamla, two sons and a daughter. Kotwal Anand Narayan Tripathi said that the body has been sent for post-mortem. A case will be registered after taking a complaint from the family members. Efforts are being made to identify the vehicle that collided with the CCTV footage.
