To fulfill his desire of eating chicken, the young man changed his ATM card and transferred money to his account through the swap machine. When no one came to know about it, such incidents started happening every day. The police team of Madhauganj police station has arrested one such vicious person. The arrested youth had withdrawn money by changing the card in the ATM of Punjab National Bank not only in Hardoi district but also in Kila Chowki area of Unnao district.
Shamshul, a resident of Nevada Gabbhi of Madhauganj police station area, had gone to withdraw money from the Indian Bank ATM on 22 November. When the money did not come out even after inserting the card, two young men standing behind took the ATM card, asking for help. Meanwhile, while looking at the OTP, the youth changed Shamshul’s ATM card. When Shamshul became suspicious, the accused pushed him and ran away. The police registered the report on the basis of the complaint.
On Saturday night, Madhauganj police station incharge KK Yadav along with his team was running a campaign to check vehicles on Baghauli road. Meanwhile, seeing the police, two people riding a bike started running away. When the police stopped, the youth sitting behind the bike ran away, but a person was arrested from the spot. During interrogation, he revealed his name and address as Sandeep, resident of house number 66, Ganesh Colony, ward number two of Hansi police station area of Hisar district, Haryana.
