Haryana Government Giving Bonus to farmers register before this date


The central and state governments take steps to provide relief to the farmer brothers in their own way. Due to less rainfall, the Haryana government has decided to give a bonus of Rs 2,000 per acre to the farmers. This bonus will be given on all Kharif crops. Farmers will have to register themselves on the ‘Meri Fasal, Mera Byora’ portal by August 15. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also announced to waive the outstanding amount of irrigation fee of canal water.

The Haryana government today approved a proposal to give farmers a bonus of Rs 2,000 per acre for their Kharif crops in view of less rainfall in the state. This decision was taken in the state cabinet meeting chaired by state CM Naib Singh Saini. He said that the state has received less rainfall in May, June and July this year as compared to last year. Due to less rainfall, farmers are having to bear higher costs for crops.

Bonus on Kharif Crops

The CM said that we will give bonus on all Kharif crops including fruits, flowers and vegetables. Farmers will be given Rs 2,000 per acre as bonus. Saini said that even if a farmer has less than one acre of land, he will be provided Rs 2,000.

Till when can you register

CM Naib Singh Saini said that I am also a farmer’s son, I understand their pain. Farmers will have to register themselves on the ‘Meri Fasal, Mera Byora’ portal by August 15. A few days ago, the state cabinet approved the proposal to purchase 10 more crops at the minimum support price (MSP). Apart from this, the Chief Minister has also announced to waive the outstanding amount of irrigation fee of canal water.
