Haryana Government To Withdraw Then Registered Against Individuals During Covid 19 Pandemic


Chandigarh News: In Haryana, relief is going to be given to those people against whom cases were registered for violating standard operating procedures (SOP) and guidelines during the Covid-19 pandemic. Actually, CM Manohar Lal Khattar has decided to withdraw the FIR registered against all these people on Thursday. He said that the process of withdrawing the FIR registered against those persons will be initiated.

CM Khattar said in the press conference that 8275 FIRs were registered for not following the rules related to Covid-19. CM said that 14,127 people were arrested in this case. However, he was later released on bail. CM Khattar said that we will start the process of withdrawing all the cases. CM Khattar said that some of these cases are to be heard in the court. CM Khattar said that we will raise this matter in the court.

Cases were registered in these cities
Let us tell you that most of these cases were registered in Gurugram. Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that of the total FIRs, 1,030 cases were registered in Gurugram, 814 in Jhajjar, 765 in Faridabad, 646 in Rohtak and 545 in Karnal. CM Khattar also talked about the issue of deaths due to poisonous liquor in Yamunanagar and Ambala in the press conference. CM said that strict steps have been taken to deal with illegal activities related to production and distribution of liquor during which 34 people have also been arrested. Now six FIRs have been registered in this regard. In this case, a fine of Rs 2.51 crore has also been imposed on the accused. CM said that 19 people have been arrested in Yamunanagar and 16 in Ambala.
