Haryana Happy Card Process: The Government of India runs many schemes for the citizens of the country. Crores of people of the country benefit from these schemes of the government. The biggest loss is to the poor people who are not able to earn much, but they spend a lot of money in travelling. Delhi government has made bus travel free for women. Similarly, now Haryana government has also launched Happy Card. Through which the beneficiaries will be able to travel by bus for free. Let’s know how Happy Card can be made. What is the process for this.
What is Happy Card Scheme?
In the year 2024, the then Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, launched the Haryana Happy Card Scheme. Under this scheme, a smart card is issued to the beneficiaries to travel free in Haryana Roadways buses. Happy card holders can travel up to 1000 km for free under Haryana Roadways. More than 22 lakh families will get benefit under the scheme.
How to make a happy card?
To get a Happy Card, first the applicant has to visit the official website of Haryana Roadways https://ebooking.hrtransport.gov.in/. After this, the applicant has to click on the option of ‘apply happy card’. After this, the number of the family identity card has to be entered. And after this, the captcha code has to be filled. Then click on ‘send otp to verify’. After this, the information of your entire family will appear in front of you.
You have to select the family member for whom you want to get a Happy Card made. After this, you have to enter the mobile number and Aadhaar card and after filling the captcha, you have to click on the option of ‘send otp’. After this, you have to enter the OTP received on the mobile number and verify it. After this, you will be able to complete the process of making the Happy Card and your Happy Card will be made.
Who can apply
Haryana government has brought this scheme especially keeping in mind the poor and needy people. Under this scheme, the government gives benefits only to those people whose annual family income is one lakh rupees or less. Under this Happy Card Scheme, Antyodaya families in Haryana are allowed to travel free for thousand kilometers in Haryana Roadways.
