These vacancies are for Trained Graduate Teacher and Post Graduate Teacher. Under this, posts of Music, Physical Education, Chemistry, Psychology, Fine Arts, Computer Science, Home Science, Sociology, Geography, Punjabi, English and Physics subjects will be filled.
Out of these subjects, only the posts of Music, Physical Education, Punjabi and Home Science are for TGT. The rest of the posts are for PGT teachers. These vacancies are known as Para Teaching Associate posts.
To apply for the post of PGT, it is necessary that the candidate has done Masters in the relevant subject from a recognized university. B.Ed degree is also necessary.
It is mandatory to have studied Hindi or Sanskrit in 10th/12th. Apart from this, if you have studied Hindi in BA or MA, you can apply. If you have passed HTET or STET exam with good academic record, you can also apply.
