Haryana: The Manohar Lal Khattar government of Haryana has taken a unique decision. In order to improve the level of education in the state, the government has appealed to the temples, mosques and gurudwaras to adopt the alarm system to wake up the students early in the morning. Loudspeakers installed at religious places will be used to wake up the students every morning. Through this initiative, the government will encourage students to wake up early in the morning and study.

Actually, in the month of March there are board exams of the students. In such a situation, students have to prepare for it. The state education department has asked temples, mosques and gurudwaras to wake up class 10th and 12th students early in the morning so that they can prepare for their board exams to be held in March next year. Not only this, the concerned school authorities have also been asked to ask the parents to wake up their children at 4.30 am so that they can utilize the morning time for preparation.

What does the government have to say?

In the official notification issued to the school administration, the state government has said that morning is the most suitable time for studies. At that time the mind remains fresh and there is no noise of vehicles. For this, every class teacher should request the parents to wake up their children at 4.30 am and ask them to sit till 5.15 am to study.

Not only this, it has been further said in this notification that teachers will also inquire through WhatsApp groups whether the students are awake and studying or not. If the parents are not co-operating then it should be brought to the notice of the School Management Committee.

Order to temple, mosque and gurudwaras as well

Apart from this, orders have been issued for the temples, mosques and gurudwaras of the state. In order to improve the pass percentage of schools in view of the proposed board examinations in the month of March next year, the Haryana government has asked temples, mosques and gurudwaras to sound ‘alarms’ to wake up students of class 10th and 12th early.
