Has Indian Wicketkeeper Batter Ishan Kishan ignored again in IND vs BAN T20I series India vs Bangladesh

IND vs BAN T20I Series Ishan Kishan: These days, the second match of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh is being played in Green Park, Kanpur. After the Test, both the teams will be on the field for a three-match T20 series. BCCI has announced Team India for the T20 series, in which mostly youth and some new faces have appeared. However, Ishan Kishan’s name remained missing from the team.

Ishaan is a wicketkeeper batsman who plays all three formats for India. However, he played his last match for Team India in November 2023, which was a T20 International match against Afghanistan. Ishan Kishan, who was a part of Team India in the 2023 ODI World Cup, has been ignored for a long time.

You might be thinking that Ishaan has been ignored even for the T20 series against Bangladesh, but perhaps it is not so. Actually, the Irani Cup match will be played between Mumbai and Rest of India from 1 to 5 October. Ishaan has been made a part of Rest of India in the match played at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

In such a situation, it could have been very difficult for Ishaan to participate in the T20 series against Bangladesh, because the Irani Cup match will end on 5 October and then the T20 series will start on 6 October. Although this is just approximate mathematics, we do not officially confirm this. Now it will be interesting to see when Ishaan is able to regain his place in Team India.

15-member Indian team for T20 series against Bangladesh
