Hathras District Election Officer Archana Verma and Superintendent of Police Nipun Aggarwal inspected the sensitive booth at Sanvilyan Vidyalaya Ruheri. Both the officers along with the police force also conducted a flag march in the Gram Panchayat.
District Election Officer Archana Verma while talking to the people said that all of you are free to vote. There should not be any complaint of fake voting. The DM asked the villagers to register their complaint on number 1950 about inducements like liquor, bribes and other things for voting. Appealed to inform immediately on the possibility of any kind of caste, religious and community violence.
He instructed SDM Sasni to get the booth number and name and mobile number of the concerned BLO written in capital letters at all the booths, so that the voters do not face any problem in finding their booth. He instructed the police force to specially monitor the polling stations where the incident took place and said that as many people with criminal tendencies as possible should be banned.
