The H3N2 influenza virus causes a respiratory viral infection. According to expert doctors, the main symptoms of this disease are high fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, muscle pain, headache, joint pain, difficulty in breathing. It can happen to a person of any age. But children below five years of age and pregnant women are most at risk from this disease. Patients with weak immunity suffering from other diseases are also more likely to get caught in this disease.

Due to lack of H3N2 testing facility in the district, patients suffering from the virus are not being identified. Although not a single patient of H3N2 has been found officially so far. In such a situation, doctors are treating patients on the basis of symptoms.

Dr. Suryaprakash told that it is an infectious disease which can spread from one person to another. Avoid going to crowded places and use mask. Do not touch your nose and mouth repeatedly. Keep drinking water and use more fluids. Immediately consult a doctor in case of fever, cough or headache. Do not spit in public places.
