There is enthusiasm among businessmen and other people of Hathras district regarding the inauguration of Aligarh Airport. Now they will not need to go to Agra or Delhi to travel by air to Lucknow. They will get a chance to travel by air to Lucknow from the newly constructed airport of Aligarh, about 40 km from the city.
However, the businessmen of Hathras want that long distance flights should also be started from Aligarh, so that they do not have to go to Delhi for air travel. It is noteworthy that the new airport is going to be inaugurated in Aligarh on March 10. Along with Aligarh, businessmen and other people of Hathras were also waiting for the inauguration of the airport for a long time. Starting of flights from Aligarh to Lucknow will provide relief to businessmen as well as officials and politicians who have to reach Lucknow in a short time. Till now, they had only the option of expressway via Agra to reach Lucknow quickly, but now they will also get the option of air travel.
With the commencement of air travel from Aligarh, it will take less time for businessmen to travel to Lucknow to get their files passed. Businessmen will be able to travel around Lucknow easily. -Ashok Verma, entrepreneur.
