Cancer : A very surprising case regarding deadly cancer has come to light. Till now, a doctor has got cancer from his own patient. How did the doctor get cancer from the patient?
According to reports, the patient had a rare type of stomach cancer and the surgeon operated on it to remove the tumor. During this, he got a cut on his hand. He immediately disinfected and bandaged it, but after about five months, a small lump formed where the hand was cut. Upon investigation, it was found that this lump was a dangerous tumor, which was exactly the same as the one found in the patient’s body. During investigation, experts found that this tumor was caused by tumor cells related to the patient’s cancer.
How cancer passed from patient to doctor
According to reports, during the operation, the patient’s tumor cells reached his body through the doctor’s severed hand. Usually, when foreign tissue or cells reach a body, the body’s immunity destroys them, but in this case the doctor’s body’s immunity failed to destroy the tumor cells. However, the doctor removed the tumor. Even after two years, cancer has not recurred in his body. This case has become a topic for cancer related research in the medical world.

Has this ever happened before?
This is a rare case of this kind. For the first time such a case came to light in the year 1996, now it has recently been published in the ‘New England Journal of Medicine’. It has been told in the report that this rarest type of cancer is called ‘Malignant fibrous histiocytoma’ in medical term, which originates in soft tissue.
According to medical experts, such a case is very rare and its possibility is absolutely negligible. Immunity is not able to accept foreign cells during transplant but in the recent case the doctor’s immunity was weak.
