The cause of sarcoma in bones is not yet certain. Sarcoma occurring in bones is called osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma and Ewing sarcoma.
Osteosarcoma mostly affects teenagers. In this the bones of hands and legs are affected. Chondrosarcoma is a dangerous tumor present in the cartilage. Cartilage provides movement between bones and joints. Ewing sarcoma cancer is found in children and youth. It originates in long bones such as ribs, shoulder blades, hips and legs.
