Another petition has been filed in the court in the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah dispute case in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Mainpuri advocate Ajay Pratap Singh has filed a petition in the CJM court demanding that a case be registered against those who signed an agreement to give a part of the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi land under ASI to the Shahi Idgah Mosque Committee in 1968. The validity of this agreement should be investigated.

Advocate Ajay Pratap Singh, a party to one of the 18 cases of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, said that on July 10, an application was filed in the CJM court under Section 156/3 of the CrPC in Mathura CGM court. The date of hearing in this was fixed on Wednesday. But, the hearing did not take place due to the court not sitting. Now the next date of hearing has been fixed for July 15.

In the petition, the court has been requested to lodge an FIR against those who violated the agreement made by the Idgah Committee and Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sangh in 1968. Based on the information received through RTI and historical evidence, he has told the court that in 1968, an agreement was made with the Idgah Committee to give 2.5 acres of land of Lord Krishna’s birthplace to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Seva Sangh.

The temple and its land are under the protection of ASI since 1920. Some organizations and some individuals got the property of national importance registered on the basis of forged documents with the intention of fraud. Orders should be given to register FIR against those people and organizations who have committed such an act in Govind Nagar police station under relevant sections.
