To promote tourism in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has started helicopter service. Under this, helicopter service between Lucknow and Dudhwa will start from November 25. Tourists going from Lucknow to Dudhwa by road used to take four and a half hours, but by helicopter it will take only one hour.

Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said that tourists will have to pay a fare of Rs 5,000 per person for helicopter travel. An MoU has been signed with JetServ Aviation Tourism Limited for this service. He said that the Chief Minister had given instructions to start helicopter services for easy transportation to eco-tourism places like Dudhwa National Park, Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary and Chuka of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve.

Employment opportunities will also increase

In this sequence, air service will be started from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow to Government Airstrip Palia from 25th November. With the opening of this facility, more tourists will be attracted to visit Dudhwa National Park. Besides, the number of tourists at nearby tourist places will also increase. Besides, employment opportunities will also increase. He informed that a second rhino rehabilitation center has been started in Dudhwa National Park.
