Manmohan Seju/Barmer. There is no age limit for reading, there is no shame in reading. One more line should be added to this – no place for reading. You might be wondering why we are saying this, then let us tell you that in Barmer, Rajasthan, a Maulvi Sahib has opened a school in the graveyard itself. Where every day 70 sons and daughters come to take training. The strange thing is that in the graveyard, on one side, people spread superstitious stories about ghosts or jinnat. At the same time, these children are away from these imaginary things and are only engaged in studies.
For your information, let us tell you that this is the only cemetery of Muslim community in Barmer district headquarters and the dead body continues to come here from all over the city, at the same place Maulvi Sher Mohammad Siddiqui is seen teaching the children. He tells that he has been giving worldly education in this cemetery for the last 3 years. This place is known as Madrasa Faizane Ahmed Shah Jilani, Fatiya Chowk.
Friday is a holiday
Siddiqui says that 70-80 children come here regularly to take education every day, although generally children stay away from the graveyard, but here the case is completely opposite. Children have been coming here to take education in the cemetery for a long time. Children take 2-hour classes daily here without any fear. Children learn Urdu, Arabic and Persian here.
Classes are held on Saturday and Sunday
This Madrasa is also unique because of its holidays. There is a holiday in this madrasa on Friday. Regular studies take place from Monday to Thursday. After Friday holiday, regular classes are held on Saturday and Sunday also. There is no fear of any kind among the children regarding the cemetery and they are seen comfortably diving into the stream of education here.
