Allahabad High Court rejected the bail application of the accused and other co-accused related to him in the gangster case. Said that looking at the long criminal history, we cannot assume that the applicant will not commit any crime in future if he gets bail. Making this comment, the division bench of Justice Ashutosh Srivastava refused to grant bail to Anupam Shukla alias Anupama Tripathi. Gangster action was taken against the applicant on the basis of a case registered in the Civil Lines police station of Prayagraj.

The applicant filed an application in the High Court for bail. The applicant’s counsel argued that Anupam has been implicated in false allegations. The cases have been filed due to personal rivalry. The applicant is in jail since September 4, 2024. Will not misuse bail after getting it. Government advocates KK Rao and Pradeep Srinet argued that the accused is an active member of an organized gang. The gang chart includes cases of threatening him, extorting money and filing false cases. He has continued committing crimes even after getting bail. On this the court rejected the bail application.
