Actually, artificial rock is a man-made rock which is made like natural rocks. In making this type of rock, things like compacted concrete, gravel, soil are used so that the strength of that rock remains and it can be used for special purposes. It is said that artificial reefs were first used for the restoration of coral ecosystems in the 1970-1980s, after which they began to be used to serve many purposes.
