Manoj Chauhan Asks Question Zakir Naik: Islamic fundamentalist preacher Zakir Naik is a guest of Pakistan these days. He also got a warm welcome there. Actually, a program was organized in Pakistan to welcome Zakir Naik, in which Maulvi and scholar were invited. Hindu professor Manoj Chauhan had also attended the same programme. When he asked Zakir Naik a question on fundamentalism from the packed stage, he first started looking sideways and then started talking here and there in response.
What did Manoj Chauhan ask?
Manoj Chauhan started his talk on stage with a Sanskrit verse. After this he said, “Lord Shri Krishna has said in Bhagavad Gita that the workplace of man is society and he will be measured by his deeds. There is no need to run away from actions, action is duty and duty is religion, but if religion is only for benefit, then that religion is only going to lead to sin. Therefore, one should be free from one’s own people and work for the society, only from there one will find the path to salvation.”
After this, while questioning Zakir Naik on fundamentalism, he said, “All over the world, even in the Mediterranean countries, people are being killed in the name of religion. This is bringing defamation to the religion. My question is that there are many countries in the world including Pakistan which are spreading separation in the name of religion, so what should be done to stop it?”
Sanatani Hindu scholar of Pakistan quoted Bhagvat Gita and asked Zakir Naik about the solution to conflicts in the society.

When Zakir Naik stood up to answer this question, he started talking here and there. Reiterating the question, Zakir said that the question of this brother is very important that why do fights happen in the name of religion and what is the solution to it? Zakir Naik said, “I have a verse of the Quran lying with me, which I call Master. It says that let us move towards that which is one among us.”
In response, Zakir Naik acknowledged the questions and said, “It was a good question. He is asking what is the solution to peace. The answer is simple and is written in the Quran. The main key to peace is that everyone We should convert to Islam and pray only one thing.”
