2. Keep cleaning hands regularly with soap or sanitizer.
3. Stay away from crowded places.
4. If you have fever, cough or sneezing, avoid going to public places.
5. Arrange for ventilation in your room.
6. If you are sick, stay at home and avoid meeting anyone.
7. Drink plenty of water and eat nutritious food.
What not to do to avoid HMPV virus
1. Do not reuse handkerchief or tissue paper.
2. Do not touch eyes, nose or mouth again and again.
3. Avoid spitting in public places.
4. Do not take any medicine without doctor’s advice.
5. Go less near sick people, do not use their belongings.
What should be the diet when infected with HMPV virus?
1. Foods rich in Vitamin C,
According to health experts, fruits like orange, grapes and guava are rich in vitamin C when infected with HMPV virus. This helps in strengthening the immune system.
2. Green vegetables and whole grains
Green vegetables like spinach, broccoli, and carrots are rich in vitamins and minerals and help strengthen the immune system. Whole grains such as brown rice, quinoa, and whole wheat flour are rich in fiber and vitamins and help in building strong immunity.
3. Protein rich foods and plenty of water
Meat, fish, eggs and pulses are rich in protein. Eating these strengthens the immune system. Apart from this, do not be careless in drinking water. Drinking enough water will keep the body hydrated and prevent diseases.
