In protest against this action, Kshatriya community put up hoardings against the Union Minister of State. Mahapanchayat announced on March 10. Fed up with teasing, a girl from a backward class in the town committed suicide on March 17. The family of the deceased had filed a case against the neighboring youth and other members of the family and sent the accused named Kalua to jail. After Union Minister of State SP Singh Baghel’s strong stance on the poor action of the police, 3 policemen including the SO were suspended. After this, anger spread in the Kshatriya community. He announced a Mahapanchayat on March 10. Besides, hoardings were also put up in the entire area in protest against the minister.
On the other hand, the police banned 36 people of the society for holding Mahapanchayat without permission. On this issue, on Saturday, former Sangh department pracharak Bhavendra Sharma held a meeting with the Kshatriya community at a marriage home in the town. In this, a strategy was decided to find a middle path. Additional Police Commissioner Keshav Chaudhary, ACP Sukanya Sharma attended the meeting. In the meeting, the people of the society announced the postponement of the Mahapanchayat after the assurance of fair action by the police officers. Sitaram Parmar, Manoj, Netrapal Singh, Rajesh Pandit, Narendra Sikarwar, Harendra Sikarwar, Bhanu District President of Bharatiya Kisan Union Mohan Sisodia, Bharat Sikarwar etc. were present.
