While the spiciness is a bit high in red gravy, the paneer curry in white gravy is sweet. Often children and elders like paneer in white gravy more. On the special occasion of Holi, white gravy paneer curry can be prepared for dinner. You must have often tasted paneer in white gravy in hotels or restaurants. You can prepare this vegetable very easily even at home.

Ingredients to make White Gravy Paneer
Paneer pieces – 1 cup
Onion chopped – 1 cup
Cashew pieces – 1 tbsp
Curd – 3/4 cup
Coriander seeds – 1 tsp
Dry red chili – 1
Desi ghee – 1 tbsp
Cardamom – 2-3
Cloves – 2
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Green chili chopped – 2 tsp
Green coriander – 1/4 cup
Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Bay leaf – 1
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Salt
White Gravy Paneer Recipe
To make delicious white gravy paneer, first cut one inch pieces of paneer. After this, grind Kashmiri dry chillies and coriander seeds and prepare a coarse powder. After this, cut thick pieces of onion and cashew. Now put onion, cashew and one-fourth cup of water in a deep-bottomed nonstick pan and cook it on medium heat. Cook it for 6-7 minutes and keep stirring in between.
Now leave the mixture to cool down. When the mixture cools down, put it in the mixer and grind it. Now take out the ground mixture in a vessel and keep it aside. After this, put desi ghee in a nonstick pan and heat it. After melting the ghee, add cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and cardamom and fry them. After this add onion-cashew mixture and garlic paste, mix well and fry while stirring for about a minute.

After this add curd and chopped green chillies to the mixture. Then add coarse powder of red chili and coriander and mix it well with the help of a ladle. After this, mix paneer, green coriander, sugar and salt as per taste in the prepared gravy. After this cook the vegetable while stirring for 3-4 minutes. After this turn off the gas. White gravy full of taste is ready. Serve it with paratha, naan or rice.
