If a hero or heroine refuses to do a bold scene, then the crew has to work with beauty shots by creating an illusion. Then some such techniques of cinematography have been used, which makes the viewer feel that a lot has happened even without anything happening. In the language of shooting, beauty shots do not mean makeup. This means hugging, kissing, holding hands or keeping the angle of the camera in such a way that the body parts can be covered. All these are techniques of cinematography. In such a scene, satin bedsheets are used on the bed and only illusion is created by covering it.

If the actor or actress feels uncomfortable doing such a scene, then the director has to take chroma shots. This scene is done with a blue or green cover, which later disappears from editing. Being of green colour, gourd acts as a chroma and they both kiss the gourd. Later during the post production it is removed from the scene and the viewer feels that the scene is real.
