What is a ticket?
Let us tell you that whenever a party If someone contests elections, he is given a ticket by the party. In simple language, it means that a political party is choosing its representative in that area and allowing him to contest elections. By getting a ticket, the candidate is able to contest the election with the election symbol of the party, this process itself is called getting a ticket.
Is there really a ticket
Now the question is Is the ticket given by the party to its candidate the same for all the candidates? Is it an Indian Railways ticket or is it in some other pattern? Let us tell you that there is no ticket, but there is a form. This form has to be submitted to the Election Commission. Let us tell you that whenever a candidate contests an election on a party symbol, the party informs the Election Commission. On the basis of which symbol is allotted to that candidate. Not only this, many times it also gives information on the official letter head of the party that which candidate has been selected for symbol allotment in which area.
Is the ticket deposited in the Election Commission?
Let us tell you that the ticket given by the party to the candidate is Form B. In Form B, the name of the candidate whom any party fields in the elections and the name and address of an alternative candidate are written. Below that is the signature of the party president, this is the party ticket. Along with Form B, there is also Form A, in which the National President of the party authorizes the State President to nominate the candidate. Please note that along with Form B, Form A also has to be submitted to the Returning Officer while filing nomination.
