Constitutional emergency

Constitutional emergency is imposed when the state governments do not follow the Indian Constitution and a situation of unconstitutional crisis arises in the state. In such situations, the President takes the state government under his control, this is called President’s rule. It is also called constitutional emergency. According to Article 355 of the Indian Constitution, it is the duty of the Center to ensure that the government of every state works according to the provisions of the Indian Constitution. But if the state government does not do so, then according to Article 356, the Center can take the state government under its control. In such situations, the Governor runs the administration under the supervision of the President.

Financial emergency

A situation of financial emergency arises in the country when there is instability in the country’s financial or credit system. The government does not have enough money to run the country. In such a situation, a financial emergency can be declared. Financial emergency has been mentioned in Article 360 ​​of the Indian Constitution.
