He also served as the company’s president from 2015 to 2018.

Following the integration of Rocawell Collins and United Technologies Corporation, Ortberg served as Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed Collins Aerospace Company from December 2018 to February 2020. He then served as a special advisor to the Office of the Chief Executive Officer of RTX Corporation until March 2021 and also served on the board from 2019 to 2024.

Boeing Company announced an attractive salary package for Kelly Ortberg. According to reports, Ortberg will get a basic salary of $1.5 million on an annual basis, as well as incentives of $20.5 million for the next year. This year Ortberg will receive a cash amount of $1.25 million and a total of $16 million in the form of other benefits.
