To be a part of YouTube Partner Program (YPP), your channel must have at least 1000 subscribers. Along with this, it is necessary to have either 4000 public watch hours in the last year or 10 Million (1 Crore) short views in the last 90 days.

How to start earning from YouTube Shorts?
– Sign in to YouTube
– Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and click on YouTube Studio
– Then click on Earn in the left side menu.
– If you are eligible, the Apply button will appear. If you are not eligible yet, click on Get notified and complete the process after fulfilling the requirements mentioned in it.
Now click on Start and after reviewing the terms and conditions, click on the accept option
– After this, you will have to link it to your AdSense account, if necessary, then click on Start to setup a new account
– After this YouTube will check your application. It takes up to a month for YouTube to do this work. Once the application is accepted, go back to the Earn section of YouTube Studio and accept the Shorts Monetization Module.
