According to the Facebook support page, this new feature has been introduced globally for both Android and iOS mobile apps, and it has also started rolling out. This means that users have also started using this feature.
What will be the function of this feature?
If you enable this new feature of Facebook, then after that, whatever website you open, search or view on your Facebook account, its entire history will be saved in Facebook.
This new link history feature of Facebook will save the list of all the websites visited in the last 30 days. You can turn this feature on or off anytime. Let us tell you which steps you will have to follow for this.
How to turn on link history?
step 1: Open any link in Facebook.
Step 2: Now click on the three dot menu appearing below.
Step 3: Now you have to click on the option of Settings and Privacy.
Step 4: Now scroll down and go downwards.
Step 5: Now you will see the option of Link History.
Step 6: Now you have to click on Allow Link History.
Step 7: Finally you have to click on the option of Allow.
How to view link history?
If you want to see which websites you have opened or visited in the last 30 days, you can do so by following some easy steps.
Click on Profile > Click on Settings & Privacy > Click on Link History
Just by following these three steps, you will get the history of every link viewed on Facebook.
How to turn off link history feature?
After doing this, you can turn on this new link history feature on your Facebook profile. If you want to turn off this feature, then follow the steps mentioned above, and you will find a toggle in front of the Allow Link History option, click on it. After that you will get the option of Don’t Allow, select it, after which this feature will be closed.
