Ingredients to make Chana Chaat
Black gram soaked – 1 cup
Onion finely chopped – 1/4 cup
Tomato chopped – 3/4 cup
Green chili paste – 1/2 tsp
Potatoes boiled chopped – 1/2 cup
Green coriander – 2 tbsp
Raw mango chopped – 1/2 tbsp (optional)
Lemon juice – 3-4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp
Chaat masala – 2 tsp
Butter – 2 tbsp
salt – as per taste

How to make Chana Chaat
To make nutrition-rich Chana Chaat, first take black gram and clean and wash them. Now put chickpeas in a bowl and soak them in water overnight. Filter the gram the next day and separate the water. Now put black gram in the pressure cooker and cook till 4-5 whistles by adding water as required. After this, turn off the gas and wait for the pressure of the cooker to release automatically. After this, open the cooker, filter the gram and separate the water and keep the gram in a bowl.

Now put butter in a nonstick pan and heat it on medium heat. After melting butter, add finely chopped onion and green chili paste and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add finely chopped tomatoes, chili powder, chaat masala and garam masala and cook till the tomatoes become completely soft. Now put boiled potatoes and gram in the pan and mix well.

After cooking potatoes and chickpeas for some time, mix green coriander leaves and lemon juice in it. After this, let the chana chaat cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Keep stirring it in between. After this turn off the gas. Now Chana Chaat is ready. Serve it hot.
