How to use old phone: When new phones come in the market, people forget about their old phones. As soon as you buy a new phone, the old phone often becomes useless and if you try to sell that phone in the market, you do not get a good price and buyer. Install a GPS app like Google Maps or Waze on the phone. Factory reset the phone and delete all unnecessary apps. Set it on a good mount in the car so that it is easily visible while driving.
Music Player
Factory reset the phone to free up space. Install your favourite music apps like Spotify, Gaana, JioSaavn, etc. Download your favourite songs so you can listen offline as well.
Security Camera
Install a security camera app like ‘Alfred’, ‘AtHome’ or ‘Manything’ on the phone. Connect the phone to Wi-Fi. Set up the app and link it to your new phone. Set the old phone in a place you want to monitor, such as an entry door, living room or child’s room. Now you can view the live video feed from anywhere on the new phone.
Device for children
Factory reset the phone and install parental control apps like ‘Kids Place’. Install educational apps like ‘Khan Academy Kids’, ‘ABCmouse’, ‘YouTube Kids’, etc. Set a time limit for children so that they can use the device in a healthy way.
