American tech company Apple is reducing the prices of its products for four days. From January 4, the price of Apple’s iPhone and other products will be reduced by about Rs 6,000. Chinese customers will benefit from this. Here Apple is facing tough competition from Huawei and the Chinese company is also giving huge discounts on many of its smartphones. Highest discount on iPhone 16 Pro model
From January 4 to the next 4 days, there will be a discount of up to 500 yuan (about Rs 5,850) on iPhone Pro models in China. Here the price of iPhone 16 Pro is 7,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 93,705) and the price of iPhone 16 Pro Max is (approximately Rs 1.17 lakh). After the discount their price will reduce further. Apart from the iPhone 16 series, discounts are also being given on old iPhone models and some other products of the company. Last year also, Apple had reduced the price of its products for 4 days.
Huawei is also giving discount
To increase its sales in the premium segment, Huawei is also giving huge discounts on its models. Huawei’s premium phone Pura 70 Ultra (1TB) is now available for around Rs 1.06 lakh, whereas its price at the time of launch was Rs 1.28. Similarly, the company’s foldable phone Mate X5 is available with 19 percent discount for Rs 1.23 lakh.
Chinese government will give subsidy on purchasing smartphone
The Chinese economy is currently going through a difficult phase and American sanctions are making the situation worse. To overcome this and increase domestic demand, the government has announced subsidy on the purchase of smartphones, tablets and smartwatches etc. Till now, subsidies were available on cars and home appliances in China. Now expanding its scope, smartphones etc. have also been included in it.
