On Sunday morning, in Bharatpur village of Kotwali area of Bhadohi district, an angry husband killed his wife by stabbing her with a knife due to a domestic dispute. The incident spread sensation in the area. As soon as the news was received, a large number of forces including the Additional Superintendent of Police reached the spot. The accused husband absconded after the incident. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem.

Manager Gautam son of Jaikaran, resident of Bharatpur village, often had disputes with his wife Sheela over domestic matters. On Sunday morning the dispute between the two escalated over some issue. Angered by this, the husband attacked his wife with a knife kept at home. Due to which she was seriously injured.
The family members took him to the Community Health Center Aurai. Where the doctors declared him dead. While the incident created chaos in the house, there was panic in the entire village. On getting information about the matter, Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Tejveer Singh, CO Aurai reached the village with heavy force.
A case of murder was registered against the husband and a team was formed to arrest him. ASP told that the accused husband has absconded. Teams have been deployed to arrest him.
