‘I don’t want to join the army’, the boy gained weight by eating, yet he was caught, went to jail instead of army!

Every country has its own rules and regulations, according to which citizens have to follow. Sometimes these rules make their life better and sometimes it also happens that these rules cause them problems. Something similar happened with a South Korean boy, who did not want to join the army but according to government rules, it was necessary for him to serve in the army.

Finally this 26 year old boy found a solution to avoid joining the army. To avoid joining the army, he resorted to such tactics that he ended up in jail instead of the army. This whole matter is in the headlines at the moment and it is also quite interesting. Let us know what the boy thought about this matter, which backfired.

I didn’t want to join the army, so I gained weight by eating hard.
According to the report of Oddity Central, this 26 year old boy living in South Korea had to join the army, which is the rule of this country. Any healthy youth between 18 to 35 years of age has to serve in the army for at least 21 months. Since this boy had to avoid this, he doubled his diet. He used to eat a lot of food and also drank a lot of water before the medical. For this, he had taken a diet from one of his friends and by following it, he was continuously gaining weight. When he went for medical examination, the weight of the 169 cm tall boy was found to be 102 kg, which was not a healthy body mass index.

How did the matter finally come to light?
Actually, in October 2017, this boy had passed the physical exam in grade 2 but in June 2023, his grade became 4. When the officials found his weight abnormally high, they took him out of the field to the service, but they also got him examined. The investigation exposed all his secrets, after which he was sentenced to jail for one year and was also given a suspension of two years. The friend who helped him in this work has also been sentenced to 6 months in jail and 2 years of suspension. In South Korea, anyone who tries to run away from military service is sentenced to 3 years in prison. Since this person had no previous criminal record, he was given less punishment. The boy has also taken an oath that after coming out of jail, he will do compulsory military service.
