In a unique incident, a man was haunted by recurring dreams of a horrific airline accident. He clearly saw in his dream how the plane completely destroyed and crashed after takeoff. All the passengers and crew members died in the accident. But unfortunately, he kept having dreams of this for ten consecutive days before the accident, yet nothing could be done to stop it. The whole story has been much discussed on social media these days.
This is the story of David Booth of America who saw this accident in his dreams every night for 10 consecutive days. On May 25, 1979, American Airlines Flight 191 crashed to the ground and was destroyed just moments after taking off from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
Speaking to Our Paranormal World on YouTube, David explained, “The dream always started the same way. I saw an American Airlines plane on the runway of a huge airport. It picked up speed, and then I realized something was wrong with the sound coming from the engine.”
“I saw the plane go straight up in the air, then turn and fall straight to the ground where it burst into a huge fire and then a wave of despair. It was like something had hit you straight in the chest.” But David had the dream again the next day.
He called the Federal Aviation Administrator (FAA). “David’s dream didn’t give me enough information to do anything about it. It didn’t specify a location, it didn’t specify a flight,” said Jack Barker, FAA public affairs director, who answered the phone.
But on May 25, 1979, David was told over the phone that American Airlines Flight DC-10 had crashed during take-off an hour earlier. No one survived. That is, this was the accident that David had dreamed about. Flight 191 is often used as an unlucky flight number. Since 1963, six flights with that number have suffered fatal accidents.
