Bihar government issued notification of promotion of 17 officers in the Indian Administrative Service. All these officers have come to the Indian Administrative Service after being promoted from the State Civil Service. The General Administration Department issued its notification. It has been said that the officers of batch year 2011 appointed in the year 2023 in the Indian Administrative Service (Bihar Cadre) were promoted in the light of the guidance contained in the letter no. of the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, New Delhi. He has been given the responsibility of the post of Special Secretary. Their pay scale will be level 13 (1,23,100 to 2,15,900).

Vinay Kumar Rai (2011) has been made the Director of Directorate of Tourism. Besides, additional charge of Additional Secretary of Road Construction Department has also been given.
